Passionate fans of the pop star are demanding that a individual who breached a barricade and touched the performer during yesterday's Wicked: For Good launch be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A viral clip shows the person identified as Johnson Wen bypassing photographers and charging at Grande while the performers proceeded down a event pathway flanked by fans.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo promptly guided the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was seen being led away of the gathering by guards.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "free after being arrested", though court documents revealed that he was scheduled to appear on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

History of Incidents

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Controversial Figure", has disrupted a performance. His Instagram feed features videos of him disrupting other high-profile occasions, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney performance in earlier this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last winter.

"There needs to be action taken against him as this is evidently a criminal offence," stated an Instagram commenter, in a reply to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user questioned.

Followers Express Concern Over Grande's Well-being

Numerous fans accused Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had revealed suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the finale of her 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and wounding hundreds.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said another response on Instagram.

A number of fans also faulted security officers at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while some demanded online networks to block Mr Wen's videos.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In footage spreading on the internet, Grande seemed shocked when she was touched by the intruder. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted reassuring her while Mr Wen was removed by staff.

Grande has not issued a statement on the incident, and the rest of the event continued without further issues.

Many of attendees had assembled in a crowd of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good international launch in a Singapore mall, including several who had waited for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The film, to be premiered on the 21st of November, is the sequel of a dual adaptation of the acclaimed stage show Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely relationship between two contrasting characters.

The musical itself is a adaptation of the 1900 book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the character Glinda Glinda, was adorned in a light pink sparkling outfit at the event while Erivo, who acts as the wicked witch, wore a elegant ensemble embroidered with roses.

They were alongside fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the highest-grossing movie of the previous year in the UK, and earned 10 Oscar nominations, winning several for excellent wardrobe and set decoration.
